Public Information Requests
The Texas Public Information Act (the Act) governs how information is requested and processed. The Act does not require a governmental body to create new information, do legal research, or answer questions. The request must ask for records or information already in existence. The request must be in writing and include enough information and detail about the information requested to enable the governmental body to accurately process the request. Public Information requests may be submitted by one of the options listed below. Once a request has been submitted, it will be processed in accordance with the Act.

Conflicts of Interest
Conflict of Interest Questionnaires-
Chapter 176.006 of the Local Government Code requires that certain vendors, or potential vendors, of the city are required to file a "Conflict of Interest Questionnaire" (CIQ) form. Completed forms are filed with the City Secretary's office and are available for viewing by selecting one of the options below. Vendors may check the Staff Directory and the list of Mayor/Council, Planning & Zoning Board, Board of Adjustments, and the Economic Development Corporation Board members to see if there is anyone listed that is applicable regarding their CIQ form. These lists are provided in compliance with the code.
Conflicts Disclosure Statements-
Chapter 176.003 of the Local Government Code also requires that certain officers of the city (elected officials and certain city employees) are required to file a "Conflicts Disclosure Statement" (CIS) form within seven days of becoming aware of certain situations as listed in the code. Completed forms are filed with the City Secretary's office and are available for viewing by selecting one of the options below.
