The Public Works department is dedicated to ensuring that the infrastructure of the city is constructed and maintained to the highest standards in order to protect the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Lake Worth. Our goal is to provide responsive and courteous service.
The Public Works department maintains the street, drainage, parks, facilities, water, and wastewater systems for the city. Services provided by the Public Works department include: street repair, waterline repair, sewer line cleaning, ROW maintenance, utility line locates, street sign repair/replacement, and construction inspection.
Please visit Dude Solutions to report street light outages, street issues (potholes, etc.), over hanging tree limbs, down street signs, park issues such as excessive trash.

*City Contractors are starting the Pueblo Rehab Project on 04/04/2022. This will begin at the 3100 block to the 3300 block of Pueblo from Pawnee to Hiawatha. Traffic will be reduced to one lane thru the project area with some daily road closures if needed. Project is projected to last 160 Days.
